The Deck Room is a modern detached annexe opening onto a large sun deck. It is adjacent to the owners' main residence and provides private accommodation that is perfect for weekends and short breaks in the New Forest.

Ideal for two sharing the Deck Room provides; clean, modern, bright and comfortable ground floor accommodation, with double bed, table and seating area, together with an en-suite shower room. Remote television and radio are provided, as are tea and coffee making facilities. The Deck Room opens on to a large south facing decked area (shared with the owners) with garden furniture provided, ideal for 'al fresco' breakfasts and relaxing. All bedding and towels are provided. Travel cot, highchair and toys are available. There is ample off-road parking and secure bike storage if necessary.

Breakfast Tea and coffee are served with a Continental breakfast; Fresh Croissants, Pain au Chocolat and Baguettes with butter and jams, from our local French bakery in Brockenhurst. English breakfasts by prior arrangement. Newspapers can be delivered by prior arrangement.
The Deck Room is situated on the edge of Pilley village and Boldre, and is within five minutes walk of the open forest. Pilley has a village shop with Post Office for newspapers and other provisions, again only a few minutes walk away. As to hostelries; Pilley has 'probably' the oldest pub in the New Forest, the Fleur de Lys, which serves good food and a selection of local ales; as does The Red Lion, a slightly further walk downhill towards Boldre. Slightly further a field again, is the excellent East End Arms. There is good selection of restaurants in Lymington, Brockenhurst and the environs.

The lovely deck area overlooking the garden
The surrounding area is well served with footpaths, bridleways and cycle networks, leading to Beaulieu, Brockenhurst, Lyndhurst and the surrounding forest beyond. Lymington with its Georgian high street, Saturday market and yachting facilities are only minutes away by car, as is the Lymington to Yarmouth car Ferry.
