overlooking openfields in a peaceful quiet location in the grounds of Lukes Barn
the bed and breakfast home of Jean Howarth.

Escape to the country to this lovely retreat and
recharge your batteries in complete
harmony with nature.

This beautifully restored wooden granary has
an open plan design with a lovely 5 foot double
bed, two comfortable wicker chairs,
colour television
and separate en-suite shower room.

Centrally heated with oiled filled radiators,
duvets, bed linen, towels and tea towels
all included.

This lovely beamed kitchenette off the main
room has most things you need for a
lovely secluded getaway

  • Combination Microwave
  • 2 burner Electric Hob
  • refrigerator with Ice box
  • Coffee filter, kettle, toaster
  • All kitchen utensils including china and cutlery

Arrangements can be made to use owners
washing machine and ironing facilities if required.

This is the lovely view to be had from The Granary and from your private garden and patio area. As you can see from the
photo this is a lovely winter view, come and find out for
what it looks like in the Summer and
Autumn too.

Locally there are a few shops, public houses and nearby local golf course, fishing, riding or walking in quiet peaceful surroundings.

Situated just half a mile from the New Forest where there are numerous attractions to visit, New Forest Ponies wandering through the many villages where you can try a New Forest Cream Tea or visit one of the lovely country pubs.

Lukes Barn is also the idea place to stay to visit the historic town of Romsey, where during the summer months
you can visit Broadlands the home of the Mountbatten family and the late Earl Mountbatten. Visit the city of
Salisbury just a short drive away where markets are held in the square on Tuesday's and Saturday's.

The Granary is let on a weekly basis but short breaks are available all year, please inquire

For guests comfort we have a no smoking policy and are unable to cater for pets.

From Junction 2 of the M 271 take the A36 Salisbury past the Red Rover Public House on the right.
Keep left signs turn right into Maurys Lane. Continue straight on till you reach the bend (do not go round the bend)
Lukes Barn is on the left by grass triangle and gravel. Drive in.
