Milford on Sea,

The village of Milford on Sea is unique in that it is in the New Forest with it's numerous attractions and also has an easily accessible pebble beach for swimming and relaxing.

It offers something for all tastes. What ever age you are.

There are pleasant walks amid natural woods alongside the Danestream which runs from inland to the sea.

From Milford is is possible to walk along the sea wall to Lymington and along the cliffs and beach to Christchurch. Panoramic views of the Solent from the Needles Lighthouse at the western end of the Isle of Wight to Christchurch and Hengisbury Head can be seen from the cliff tops some quarter of a mile from the Village Green. Milford hold several events during the year on the village green including one of the best carnivals in the area on August Bank Holiday Monday.

Milford has three good inns and a choice of restaurants as well as the usual village shops and Heath Centre if required.

Numerous car parks are situated at various points around the village and a bus service.

Keyhaven with its creeks and inlets form a natural harbour and has a ferry to Hurst Castle with it's Museum. There is also a passenger service ferry service to Yarmouth or the Isle of Wight which is a short distance across the Solent.
