village of Woodgreen tucked away in the North West Corner of the
New Forest has a delightful village pub, village shop and if the
village hall is open you can view the murals on the walls showing
people who lived in the village nearly 100 year ago. Within easy
reach of the River Avon and the Avon Valley Path this is an ideal
spot for walking, riding and cycling. Take the car and visit the
many attractions in the area. Visit Breamore House the home of
the Hulse family or take the short drive into Salisbury, or just
relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounding of Rose Cottage where
a warm welcome awaits you.

Directions on how to find Rose Cottage
From Salisbury:Take the A338 south for approximately 9 miles until
you reach the village of Breamore; take a left immediately after
The Bat & Ball Public House sign-posted Woodgreen and continue
over the old railway bridge and the River Avon into the village.
Upon reaching the village, Rose Cottage faces you with the village
Post Office/Shop on the right hand side.
From London/Southampton: Heading west bound, leave the M27 at
junction 1 sign-posted The New Forest. Follow the B3079 north
to the village of Brook. On passing the Bell Hotel take the left
fork B3078 sign-posted Fordingbridge. Continue for 8 miles until
you reach the Fighting Cocks Public House. Turn right immediately
afterwards sign-posted Woodgreen and continue down this small
lane through the water-splash (ford) for 2 miles; on reaching
the village, Rose Cottage is the last cottage on the right before
the Post Office/Shop.
