are looking for a quiet and peaceful rural base.
Wicksmead is in an unspoilt part of the Forest away from roads offering
immediate access for walking and cycling, surrounded by open moorland
and our own fields, which we share with a variety of animals and birds
as well as our own small flock of rare breed sheep and ducks. The self-contained
accommodation for two offers a very comfortable and bright ground floor
guest room with three aspects over fields and forest that is accessed
via French doors.

and ample parking immediately adjacent to the guest room. For
the energetic, there are two popular pubs within walking distance
across the forest: Alternatively, there is a good choice of eating
places within a short drive in the locality of Bramshaw that has
its own Post Office and village shop. |

Wicksmead
is only a couple of miles from the M27 for easy access to Bournemouth,
Southampton and
Portsmouth. Alternatively, enjoy a drive south through the New Forest
to reach the coastal resorts of Lymington,
Beaulieu, Bucklers Hard and Lepe.
