Hilden is a lovely Edwardian house set in 2.5 acres of mature gardens and paddocks, 50 yds from the open Forest. It is just over 2 miles from the Georgian sailing town of Lymington, on the Solent (with ferry connection to the Isle of Wight), and less than 2 miles from the pretty New Forest village of Brockenhurst, which is 1hr.20mins. by train from Waterloo. There are many very good pubs and restaurants in the area, including The Hobler Inn, which provides excellent food, less than 200 yards from our door, and of course plenty of shops and other places of interest. There are many places to visit nearby, including the world famous Beaulieu Motor Museum.

Children are welcome here, and can let off steam in the delightful gardens, and dogs are also welcome at a small extra cost to cover cleaning etc. Stabling and grazing for horses can be arranged locally, and there are many excellent riding establishments close by where you can arrange hacks out in the Forest, or lessons by highly qualified instructors. There is also an excellent bicycle hire shop in Brockenhurst, which provides everything you need for a day's cycling (except cushions!).

Facilities All our rooms have colour TVs and radios, tea/coffee making facilities and full central heating. Most are ensuite, and although they are all either double, twin or family rooms, single guests are also welcome. Full English or Continental breakfast is offered, and cots and highchairs available. There is ample car parking, and room in our sheds if you bring your own bicycles.

Prices vary from £26 to £32 per head per night based on double occupancy, with a surcharge for single occupancy. Children under fourteen are half price. We do not make a charge for children in cots if you bring your own, and if you wish to hire our cots this will cost £5.00 per night. Dogs are welcome at £2.00 per night.

Take the M27 West turning off the M3, and follow the M 27 to Junction 1, signposted Cadnam and New Forest, A337.

Follow the A337 directly south through Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst, traveling towards Lymington. As you go over the level crossing at Brockenhurst note your mileage - we are exactly 1.7 miles further on - on the left, about 200 yards after a Q8 garage and 175 yards before The Hobler Inn, both also on the left. Hilden is set back from the road, with a large B & B sign outside - you can't miss it.
