If you are looking for the idyllic country retreat in a large private secluded garden look no further than Hurstly Cottage.

Situated on the edge of the New Forest with off street parking this cosy cottage in excellent decorative order with some antique furniture can sleep up to 6 people for family holidays or romantic getaways.

On the ground floor you will find:-

  • Dining Room with open log fireplace
  • Sitting Room with open log fireplace
  • Large Kitchen/breakfast room with
    fridge/freezer, professional style cooker, microwave, blender, kettle, toaster etc. all kitchen utensils also French doors
    onto Patio
  • Downstairs Bathroom with giant double ended bath

On the First Floor
Sleeps - 2 - 6 people in three bedrooms

  • Bedroom 1 - Superking bed
  • Bedroom 2 - Superking bed or can be made up as two singles.
  • Bedroom 3 - Walk through bedroom otherwise set out as study or can be double or 2 singles and would suit children,
  • Shower room with wc and washbasin.
Bed Linen & Towels are supplied.

Outside in the lovely large private garden:

  • Family size gas fired barbecue
  • Utility room with washing machine and bar fridge
  • Patio with outside table and chairs
  • Beautiful garden with lawns for lazing on and rustic furniture
  • Great walks from top and bottom gates to the river at Royden Woods or open heath.

Hurstly Cottage is only 5 minutes walk away from the local pub and walking a little further you will find a choice of three others, all offering a wide choice of great food. A short drive away will take you into the lovely village of Brockenhurst where ponies can often be seen in the High Street, and then in the other direction you have the very pretty Georgian Yachting Town of Lymington. You can catch a ferry to the Isle of Wight from Lymington and there's a great market on Saturdays.

If you wish to explore the area you will be spoilt for choice with the many pretty villages such as Burley or Beaulieu and there you can visit the famous Motor Museum. If you like gardens Exbury must be on your list and to see where they built the first wooden ships, visit Bucklers Hard. For Children you have Longdown Dairy Farm and Paultons just to name a few. We let on a Friday to Friday
(arrive after 3.30pm vacate by 10am
)
Weekly rates are inclusive of Gas, Electricity, Telephone(
local only) and linen. Central heating throughout the house
Tariff

From £420 to £770 per week according to season.
Dogs by arrangement £20.00 a week

Please note that Easter two weeks and Spring Bank Holiday week are all high season. Short breaks can be made at 70%of the weekly rates.
