Welcome to Meadow Bank a large detached family home where a warm welcome awaits you by Denise Perry or Carole King.

This family home is ideal place to stay as directly opposite is the open Forest now a National Park and where ponies, and cattle wander past the front gate, but walking distance to village pubs, shops and the main railway station.
The accommodation we have to offer you for your comfort is as follows:-
  • One Double room on the first floor with en-suite shower room
  • A Twin bedded room which can be a family room sleeping up to 4
    by arrangement. This room is on the ground floor and has an en-suite shower room

    Both of our rooms have TV with Sky Freeview box, DVD.

  • Tea and Coffee is available all day in the dining room on a "help yourself"basis.

    Breakfast is served in the dining room with a choice of a full cooked English breakfast to just toast and preserves, the choice is yours. Special diets can be catered for by arrangement.


    As our garden stands in half an acre those guests who are staying more than one night are welcome to use the garden. There is a trampoline for children and garden furniture to relax on . In the summer months we have an above ground splash pool which can be used by arrangement at certain times.

    We can also offer DIY stabling for horses and parking for horse boxes just 15 minutes walk from our home within our small holding/farm which also has direct access to the New Forest. Please enquire for further details

Meadow Bank is in the ideal spot for touring the whole of the New Forest National Park with cycle hire, and riding stables nearby. Many attractions to visit from Beaulieu Motor Museum to Longdown Dairy Farm. Why not take a day visiting the many villages in the area, including Burley, Lyndhurst and the coastal towns of Milford on Sea or the Georgian Yachting town of Lymington with its Saturday market or take a river boat trip to the Isle of Wight. Why not just relax and walk into the Forest and see the ponies and deer enjoy the peaceful environment, as you walk along gravel tracks.
If you wish to go further a field to for theatres or picture houses Southampton and Bournemouth are both easily accessible by car or train.

For the comfort of our guest we have a no smoking policy in the house and due to
the age of our home we are unable to accept those with mobility problems as their
are steps and stairs.

Directions on how to find Meadowbank

Directions: Follow A337 directly south through Lyndhurst to Brockenhurst. At Careys Manor Hotel turn right into Grigg Lane and continue to 2nd crossroads. Go straight over into Sway Road and travel approx. ¼ mile where you will find Meadowbank on the left hand side opposite village school with large B&B board outside!
