I
f a “place with space” where the New Forest meets the
sea appeals to you, then you should enjoy Mullins. Whether you are
one big family, two smaller families or four couples, you can be
together, without feeling on top of each other and you can socialise
or escape to a quiet corner, when the mood takes you.
Sunlight
streams into the house making it bright and cheerful and good quality
furnishings, interspersed with some antiques and books, make for
surroundings which are comfortable, yet up to date. And it’s
a house for all seasons, not just for summertime, with its daffodil

Mullins
is set in its own secure garden, has a very large patio and
views from upstairs out over farmland and across to Southampton
Water. You may find yourself tempted to leave the car behind
and stride out over the fields to buy your morning paper.
Not that you are far from civilisation as Hythe is just minutes
away by car - though its pubs and restaurants can easily be
reached on foot, if you have a mind to. Beaulieu with its
Motor Museum, thatched cottages and wandering ponies is nearby,
and yet the clubs, cinemas and theatres of Southampton are
accessible by public transport, including a late night, early
morning, bus service for those who those who do not wish to
drive. |
Booking
Bookings are made Friday to Friday. During
the early and late season, weekend and mid week breaks can be arranged
and smaller numbers can be accommodated.
Prices,
depending on numbers and time of year, range from £400 - £1450.
We regret that
neither pets nor smoking is permitted at Mullins
AGA Suppers
• Would you like to arrive to find supper waiting for you
in the aga, leaving you only to cook the prepared vegetables?
• If the answer is yes, I’d be happy to discuss menus
and prices with you.
Please read before
booking
Parents
please note that the swimming pool is fenced off and while there
are no steps between the drive and the house, the stairs make the
house unsuitable for those with mobility problems, unless the sofa
bed in the sitting room is acceptable for sleeping.
