Walter Tyrrell near
the Rufus Stone at Brook right in the New Forest are pleased to
be able to say that they have opened up three fields for camping.
| Two of the
fields are almost opposite the public house which was rebuilt
in 1936 and is for camping only. The fields are for basic
camping but do have toilet facility. At the moment there
is no Showers but planning permission has been applied for,
for next year.
We
have one field directly behind the public house for Camping
and Caravan Club members only with a chemical emptying point.
Campers must bring there own toilet facilities.
Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
BBQ's
are allowed - off the ground only. |

All
campers are requested to register and pay at the Sir Walter Tyrrell
on arrival and keep to the camp site rules which are
1. No lighting of fires
2. No loud music or noise after 11pm please respect you neighbours.
3. Please take your rubbish home with you or place in
bins behind the pub.
4. The owners of the site do not accept responsibility for accidents,
death, or damage to property, how so ever or what so ever caused.
Anyone seen breaking these rules will
be requested to leave
PLEASE DEPART BY 12PM NOON ON DAY OF
LEAVING.

Walter Tyrrell serves meals, lunch and dinner everyday
All day at weekends with a very wide choice of meals.
Children are especially welcome as we have a lovely out
door play area but parents are responsible for their children
using the play equipment
For
larger parties by arrangement Breakfast can be had in the
Pub and also Bar-B-Ques in the evenings can be arranged.
Clubs are welcome at Sir Walter Tyrrell. |

Directions
on how to find Sir Walter Tyrrell
West
bound from M 27 junction 1
Leave M 27 at Junction 1, third exit onto B3078 towards village
of Brook. When in Brook,
Green Dragon Pub is on the left and Bell Inn Hotel on right. Turn
Left before the fork in road,
signpost to Rufus Stone.
Sir Walter Tyrrell pub is about one and half miles up the road
on the left.
East Bound from Bournemouth and Ringwood
Along
the A31 from Ringwood towards M27, past Stoney Cross on the left,
next turning on left is for Rufus Stone,
you need to get into the slip lane on left.
