The New Forest Towns and Villages are:

  • Beaulieu and Exbury and Hythe Location of Beaulieu National Motor Museum, and Exbury Gardens a must in spring time. Nearby is Hythe with the world's oldest pier train and views across to Southampton Docks to see all large liners. Market day Tuesday

  • Brockenhurst: Main line station to London - Waterloo pleasant village in the New Forest, where ponies can be seen in the village streets.

  • Burley: A honey pot for holiday makers, cream teas, New Forest Cider, includes the nearby  village of   Bransgore with its lovely Public Houses

  • Cadnam A small forest edge hamlet on the entrance to the New Forest. Once famous for an oak tree which was reputed to come into leaf on Christmas Day. Surrounded by villages and hamlets.
  • Christchurch: Closest to Bournemouth with award winning beaches, famous Christchurch Priory, Includes  Highcliffe ....
  • Fordingbridge: including quiet village of Woodgreen, in the North of the New Forest. The town gets its name from having a ford and a bridge ...

  • Lymington: On the edge of the Forest. Famous Yachting town with Marinas and Quay, Saturday Market, lots of restaurants and other eating establishments. Includes villages of Everton, Hordle and Pennington ....

  • Lyndhurst: Pleasant shopping street, with New Forest Museum. It is also the home of the Verderers Court.  Close by is Minstead, one of many delightful forest villages, the resting place of Sir Arthur Canan Doyle

    Milford and Keyhaven . Situated 3 miles from Lymington. Milford is stony beach but safe for swimming but with lovely views to the Isle of Wight. Keyhaven is part of the Solent Way and has a lovely pub and a sailing club

  • New Milton and Barton :is uniquely situated, sandwiched between the New Forest and the sea, with a wide range of leisure activities. With Ashley, Bashley and Barton-on-Sea right on its door step.

  • Ringwood:  close to the main A31, for ease of access also has a street Market on Wednesday mornings in the town centre.

  • Sway close to Lymington with the New Forest on its door step is well known for Sway Tower built by Judge Petterson. Sway also has a main railway line.

  • Totton and Eling. Totton used to be known as the largest village in England on the edge of the New Forest but close to Southampton and the M271. Eling is a very pretty village with a Toll Birdge and Eling Tide Mill with a lovely Creek full of yachts and small boats.
