Windrush
is a delightful cottage set in the lovely village of Minstead in
the
heart of the New Forest, north of Lyndhurst.
Kate and Peter Tyrrell offer a warm welcome with tea
or coffee on arrival and have
pleasure in being able to offer you the following accommodation
in their home,

On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with television,hairdryer,
tea/coffee making facilities and
private bathroom.

On
the first floor private landing is a delightful family suite:
sleeping up to 7, comprising 2 large bedrooms with adjacent
private bathroom. One bedroom has 2 double beds and the other
a double and a single bed. These rooms are ideal either for
1 family, or 2 families who don't mind sharing the bathroom.
Both bedrooms have a washbasin, TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee
making facilities.
We
offer a wide choice of breakfast menu including our own free range
eggs.
Breakfast is served in the dining room, which has large windows
overlooking the
attractive garden and weather permitting, coffee/tea can be taken
on the patio.

The village
shop, pub (excellent food) and an interesting 12th century church
(resting place of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle) are within easy walking
distance.
Also within the village is the attractive Furzey Gardens with an
ancient forest
cottage and gallery of arts and crafts.
We are also well positioned for trips to the south coast
beaches and many other local attractions.
For
everyone's comfort we have a no smoking policy and are sorry we
cannot cater for pets.
